How to make “tie-dye” injection molded parts.

Follow the below steps using the Model B-100 Benchtop Injection Molder:

  1. Partially fill plastic baggy with uncolored resin pellets.
  2. Add in a sparse amount of colored pellets and shake baggy to distribute evenly.
  3. Pour pellets into melt chamber of benchtop molding machine.
  4. Position mold underneath melt chamber and rotate vise clamp to secure mold.
  5. After pellets melt, pull down handle to inject molten plastic into mold.
  6. Rotate vise to unclamp mold, then remove part from mold.
