The Mix-Molder® System

The Model S-100 injection molder and Model M-100 mixing device with two ECB-001 controllers. — Model S-100 injection molder and Model M-100 mixing device with two ECB-001 controllers.

Ideal for:

Illustrates a recycled plastic part and the 3D printed mold it was molded from using a hand-operated desktop injection molding machine.

Prototyping

Plastic injection molded test specimens: tensile test bar; Izod test bar; color chips, produced with a benchtop injection molding machine.

Materials testing

A wire assembly, over-molded with a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) in a prototype aluminum injection mold, using a hand-operated injection molding machine.

Overmolding

The Mix-Molder System can melt and mix plastic resin pellets with chemical additives for experimental evaluation.
